Jumpix Jump is one of the weirdest games I've ever seen on Steam. The best part: I don't even think it's trying to be weird, it's just inherently bizarre. "Why, why is it so weird?" you may ask. Well, the simple answer is just...everything: the poorly made, eerie character design of Jumpix, the desolate levels, and the sense that you are constantly alone. I'll go into further detail on each point I just made as to why this game is so bizarre. I'll start off with Jumpix himself. Our hero in this game, Jumpix, is an anthropomorphic bunny man from my nightmares Oh, he also sports a pair of flowery boxers. There's absolutely no excuse for his character design being so terrifying, as bunnies are cute by default. How hard is it to make a cute bunny character? When I say that the levels are desolate, I mean it. In Jumpix Jump, Jumpix wanders around five empty, soulless levels; each sporting an increasing amount of disappointment. There are no enemies, there is nothing living in the levels aside from Jumpix himself. The emptiness of the levels ties into my next point to why Jumpix is so weird. In Jumpix Jump, you constantly feel alone: mostly because you actually are alone. Jumpix has most likely never seen another living being in his life, and he probably never will. Please do not buy Jumpix Jump.. Wow, what can I not say about this game? Truly a THRILL-FILLED-RIDE the entire way.I've heard this game been described as "LINEAR" and "DULL" but what I think those users meant to say was, "WINEAR (referring to the wonderful sound track that wistfully plays to ANYONE who plays this wonderful game), and "FULL of fantastic decisions that interweave into a larger narrative." which are all SUPER GOOD NICE COMMENTS packed with authenticity.This game deserves as much praise as possible and heck, I even nominated this for an award. The details on the model are FANTASTIC. Take a look at the character's clothing - it's realistic, minimal, and the blue really matches the fur of Jumpix (the main protagonist). Trust me, you will LOVE this game - and if you don't then cool, go find some crayons to munch on. Jumpix is a fine-wine of a video game - it's the foreign film of interactive entertainment, and in fact, it's the best videogame of the past 3 years. One criticism I have of this game is that I can't find the answer to the 17th puzzle (outside Margaret's house on stage 7), if anyone knows the code please message me in private.I recommend waiting for after the sales to purchase the game at full price, as it's the only way of atoning for the act of possessing this game. EDIT: I realise I do not actually have any criticism for this game, the devs created a puzzle that is essentially unable to be solved by man at this current state of evolution. Regardless, here's hoping this game gets completed in our lifetime! I must have to say, mario kart was my fav game on xbox x. but this does not even start to compart with that masterpercing into my hearteries.
